Barring the baffling title, I present you my first post of the year! Another animation test!

This time it's about Happiness Charge Pretty Cure, where one of the Bomber Girls Precure showcases a move for Hime Shirayuki.

As for the style. It's the same concept as my previous post, except it's more rough layout-esque than anything (e.g.: A box when a character talks), with a few references thrown here and there. And probably consulted Sakugabooru for that. But whatever...

I'll give some of my quick commentary on each cut.

Cut 1:
That cool eye effect is not as rare as in previous years in Anime production, from what I've seen.

Cut 2:
Obligatory Kanada Light Flare. Nuff said.

Cut 3:
Think of that BANK footage at Happiness Charge, but make it 2D.

Cut 4:
Powerups (Strength Up, Defense Up, Speed Up, etc.) that would probably also work on RPGs? It's possible!

Cut 5-6:
My favorite part of this sequence. Yay for Muscle Growth!

Cut 7:
There's no such thing as safe fanservice with scenes like this. Bonus: Hime is FLUSTERED.

Cut 8:
The Obari Punch is strong with this one (but not as much as Blossom's Butt Punch). Also, I might have overdid the shading here. *Sweats*

Cut 9:
Nobody blames Mother Nature if rocks like that are blown that casually. The reference on the 3rd Impact Frame is something only North American kids would understand.

I hope you enjoyed this experimental sequence as much as I was making it! 2023 Let's freakin' go!

One more thing: I headcanon the Bomber Girls Precure team as polyamorous with each other. And also sometimes throw relatable (if salty/nipticky) comments on Anime/Otaku culture.
