Description
It's a zombie. It was inspired by those found in the game Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, though I do not believe there to have been any in the game that particularly resemble that which I have drawn. Oh, and, its lower jaw has been wrenched away from the skull, and sort of shoved down into the throat.I just purchased a new scanner, and I'm still learning its secrets, but it seems to scan pencil strokes with a much harder edge than exists in real life. I'll try to upload a "smoother" scan, if I can acquire one.

I'd like to incorporate this image into a logo design I have in mind for the group .
Their having a logo/icon contest to come up with a new logo to represent the group.
The image would have to be scaled down in order to fit into a 100x50 group icon image. It may work out or it may not, I need to have your approval nonetheless.

Definitely; in my research for the drawing, I studied---at great length---human expressions of compassion, love, joy, and camaraderie. I concluded that the above is the universal expression for "hug me!"

Here's the thing about that; I know for a fact you'd not be the first to do so (though, you may be the first to ask my permission, lol). However, I do not "officially" condone it being a tattoo, but I also don't complain or have a problem with it. My recommendation, though, is that if you DO use this as a tattoo, alter it as necessary to make for a proper tattoo design (in other words, do something to fix the open-ended laziness of the bottom of it).
