This picture is of my grandparents when they were first married, it was taken on Feb 9, 1947.it's one of the few pictures of my grandparents before they died on a car accident. I really wish i would have seen them.

That's so cool. I wish more people would upload stuff like this, because I find it really interesting- so I imagine otehrs do to. I have a really similar picture to this of my own grandparents- I always find it really mindblowing to think of a time when my grandparents were NEW to each other like that, young and in love, you know?- it's so otherworldly seeing them so young in a world that was completely different to the one we inhabit

I love how all old pictures appear to be out of this world, and 'untouchable' in style and class no matter how time has affected them, the atmosphere created is prominant.
Its funny how you can miss people you never knew, but you knew the people through memory, and thats how there legacy continues.
I was lucky, by the time I was born I had one grandparent left out of all of 'em.
