Hi, do you remember me? :3 we have talked about markers some drawings ago xD
I looked up a lot of marker tutorials on the internet but, as I still don't have them, I tried the marker shading style with pencils.. it is really hard (one afternoon to color a little Chopper smaller than an A5 sheet of paper, and almost 2 days for another character similar) but I really enjoyed that coloring and will try to improve the style :3
Even if I am not that active here on dA I am still following you and when I log I find all your works in my Watch messages :3 they are always wonderful to be seen, you have a particular talent in choosing the correct tone of color to be put next to another... not counting the style and effort you can see in your pictures
Sorry if I wrote a lot but every drawing I see from yours I would like to say a lot to you, so I put all the words together in only one message xD
May I see you are one of the artist I admire the most? This doesn't mean I will copy your style/ I would never do this. I admire a lot of artists, both famous ones and dA ones, but more than copying their styles the thing I want to learn from them are the colors... not only how to, but also the eye to see where you need more shading, where the light comes from, and how to make a piece of clothing seem real (this is the hardest part... as I always have problems in understanding where it folds xD )

Oh wow, thanks! I'm glad I can be an inspiration. No worries about the copying part, I know exactly what you mean. c: I know quite a few artists I admire myself. Just like our friends influence who we are, our fellow artists influence how we draw. I love how that works. xD As long as we remain ourselves and don't try to be someone we're not, nothing's wrong. But you seem to understand that well. ;') I hope my clothing folds help you out (though I'm not sure, I never get how those work! XD).
