legends say that a unicorn can't be tamed, but this doesn't apply to everyone =3And one more picture just by mood)
Also I took concept of this unicorn from Wow (Val'sharah unicorn).
But I decide to do he a bit more happy cuz in original they are always sad)

Hate to be the one to bust your bubble, but I've seen more than a few "Kirin" designed with straight or non-forked horns. Hell, look no further than Monster Hunter. Or Shin Megami Tensei.
The one thing that separates the two is that a Kirin is a chimera of sorts, often boasting traits of equine and draconic creatures, while a Unicorn is just a horse with a prominent single horn.

lel, you literaly gave the answer to yourselfe. As you can see the "Unicorn" here as you said "Unicorn is just a horse with a prominent horn" ye thats right. Have you took a closer look on the pic? It has splitted Hoofs. Just Sayin. Not a horse at all and so on, not a unicorn. Plus the tail. That is not horse at all. So, poping your bubble here as well. Zoom in if you cant see Details.

Well usually "unicorn" are more an hybrid creature with goat & donkey&horse with a horn. (mainly during 15°_18°)
At those day it mainly look like a horse with a goatee, splitted hooves, donkey's ears and tail. And a horn.
After those dates and mainly the discover that the horn come from a narwhal, the unicorn change little by little like a normal horse with only a horn.
But yeah ...A KIRIN ?!
or qilin. The mainly trait of him: it HAS to have SCALES, no scales...no kirin/qilin. (or you take other traits from qilin but...meh)
And usually the qilin has deer horn (unique or dual).
Also you can found old picture of qilin they mainly draw with same pattern as china dragon: with a big mane
It's a capcom choice to make the monster kirin an hybrid of unicorn (oriental) and qilin.
Mainly they avoid to make in exactitude a monster looks like an mythology creature.
But to be honnest...i don't even see the splitted hooves in the picture lol...
also the goatee is missing.

Zoom in on the Picture. Ist pretty ignorant to say something like "I dont see it so ist not there" Thats like playing peek a boo with a kid and pretend you dont see anything when you cover your face. Therwes fine lines between each hoof. It depends heavely on the culture how the kilin Looks like. Scaly kilins are more the japanese and chinese Version. Korean kilins and tibetan kilins are different in shape and size. Ist still not a unicorn in my eyes as it has splitted hoffs, a doublecurved horn and alongdragonlike tail. Btw Link doesnt work for me. Im not gonna argue any further here. Did enough Research back in my days to say that this is NOT a unicorn. If you cant see the Hofs properly you gotta zoom it up, download it and recolour it or get a better Monitor. Pretty easy to oversee small Details on colours like this. But not impossible to spot.

Well i zoomed in it...there is a micro line...so i guess it's not really well done...i mean splitted hooves it was supposed to be more than a little line,here it's just like if a fairy use a pen to draw in his hooves. So i didn't take it like a splitted hoves since technically a splitted hooves well...is splitted literrarly like two piece of hoof ?
I don't know look the picture it's not clearly two pieces just more one "with 1 px line". you're not supposed to zoom to say an animal has splitted hooves, it's not well done that's all ^^'''.

And like i already said: Unicorn HAS splitted hooves during the old days. so saying "it has splitted hooves so it's not a unicorn" i just told you that in history unicorn has splitted hooves.
But the design evolve into simplier and become a simpler horse with horn.
But lot of fantasy games like to take the old medieval design.
Also it's not because the horn don't look a narwhal one like it mean it's a dragon horn...
It's not because the horn isn't one of the narwhal that means isn't a unicorn. Sometime game take personal choice to make their own design.
i guess blizzard choose to make the horn more like a moon for Elune the moon goddess. Or simply they are more magical than other animals with narwhal horn in the game.
Also there is already the zevhra and quel'dorei horse who have curve narwhal horn so it would repeat to much a design.
and why it can't be a qilin in the warcraft universe ? Simple there is already qilin in warcraft and they looks like the qilin from japenese culture:

Wich clearly define the difference between a unicorn (designed) and a qilin in game.
And if it's not enough to understand it's a UNICORN (even it get a personal designed).

Хм...вот это не обычно! Мне нравится.
Даже Вальшара чувствуется, а не твой стандартный лес.
Наверное один из моих любимых маунтов наземных по сути, выглядит весьма просто, но при этом необычно. Никаких обвесов пвпшных лишнего пафоса с блестками и прочего, обычный такой единорог почти классический.

Я же не по лекалу рисую.
Любой лес состоит из деревьев а они похожи друг на друга + рисуя ветки очень сказывается так называемая "ручная память" и рука не волей малюет схожие по подчерку линии.
Плюс сама палитра цвета так же схожая ибо каждый раз отталкиваешься от цвета листвы.
А лес я рисовать люблю, вот прям очень, лиственные задники мои любимые)
Мне тоже этот маунт очень нравится, жаль я так и не смог получить его, прям грусть печаль(
Про пафос тоже согласен, никогда не любил обилие шипов и прочих "брутальностей")

Ну не знаю...лес лесу - рознь.
Очень многие твои рисунки особенно с понями как будто в одной роще нарисованы, одна какая-то локация. Если переводить на общий пример то ты часто рисуешь Эльвинский лес(территория что у Штормграда), но хотелось бы у тебя увидеть Кратер Ун'Горо, Низину Шалазар, но верхом того что я хотел бы у тебя увидеть Это Седые Холмы, высоченные сосны и снег.
Ну есть кстати аналоги в виде "Осознанного кошмара" и другие лошадки очень похожие, да и мне кажется есть еще возможность получить сие.
Простые маунты вообще у меня в приоритете, вот как буду снова играть найду себе Осознанный кошмар и буду только за Шедоприста бегать, идеальный для него маунт.
