And here we have a very brief continuation to their story XD Very, very brief.I dunno, I could have gone into the whole "You shot me???" conversation and whatnot, but let's skip that so the story can move along
You know, actually, Meiles would probably fit in well among my aunts (as well as my mom). Whenever they come in contact with me and my cousins, the first comment is usually on how much we weigh

Haha, poor Yari! Asian culture seems to be very weight-fixated. Me and my Aussie friend lived in China for a while; they kept telling her she needed to lose weight (she looks fine.)

So question? I noticed on some of your other Meiles (how is it pronounced?) and yari pics, she has "Fel Tainted" eyes, I had always assumed that she never splurged in the arcane fountain.

Haha naaaah, she's actually too nice for that. She still has a lot to learn regarding standing up for yourself. She'll learn eventually!
Actually, yeah, she's old enough to have been around for the fall of Quel'thalas, though she was pretty young then. Her last family member, her brother, was killed during the retaking of Silvermoon, so yup, she has been exposed to fel magic. During the years of her being trapped in the Ghostlands, she survived her addiction by quickly tapping anything that might be magical and running for dear life. She's tried a troll once or twice, but those incidents ended up with her almost getting eaten (good thing she's so tiny and good at hiding). Which also explained why she was freaking out when Meiles found her.
Of course, there may still be some facts that need to be cross-checked with lore, and I'll iron out the details when I do so, but for now, that's how it goes ^^

It seems like many cultures like to comment on weight! Although I did have a bf from New Jersey, and once when my sister commented on him gaining weight, I couldn't speak to him for an entire day because he was sulking! Hahaha! Geez! So I guess HE'S not used to it XD

O god i had a similar situation once, my mom acidentaly activated her cellphone to call me while they were off buying a minioven for my bf and I and spoke onto my mailbox without knowing, and they were discussion on what size the minioven should be and my father said "You know how hungry Sascha is, he definately needs the bigger sized oven", and when i heard it i litterally cracked up while sascha was standing beside me and i couldnt tell him what the matter was while i laughed so he grabed my phone and rehearsed the voicemail and he was also so pissed of later... My parents often tell him to do little more sports as well haha.
But as of lately, my working mates keep telling me how I lost weight since i started working there (I work in a production of gummybears and do lost of bodywork lol), even though i don't think we ever met before XD.
Yea, weight is a sensitive subject in many matters I gues. But i'm really surprised you have a chubby blood elf as character, i always thought the bloodelves were a bit vain and would much rather die than gain any weight OR have any inability in magic exposed.

Hahaha it's usually more okay for a guy to be fat than a girl, though! You see all these big fat guys with sexy girlfriends, but it's so rare to see a hot guy with a fat girl! Over here, at least D:
And yeah, blood elves are very vain indeed, and all of the blood elf characters I've seen are all beautiful, so I wanted to do something different with her. She was very skinny when Meiles found her, but she was living with so little food for so long, so when she got back to Silvermoon she just ate and ate, and you know what happens when your diet drastically changes like that!
And the other blood elves do make her feel bad about being fat
