A lot of my Meiles and Yari pics are actually crap, though XD I just do them on the fly when I have free time, but since there's no pressure to do well as they're not commissions, I usually end up halfassing them! This is one of the rare times that I actually put full effort in it XD

Awe ^_^ Poor Yari looks not-awake. I love how you captured such a 'trivial' moment in their lives and made it memorable and oh-so adorable. The colors are fantastic, and your grey-dawn light is spot on.

I have a question though, just something I spotted. Is the grey bit just part of Yari's dress, or have they been having a little bit of guild trouble? It looks a bit like a blank tabard, and you always weave such subtle story markers into your work, I just had to ask.

Theres something with the tones of the colors I like in this one. They are still there, making my eyes happy, but the softness in them makes it more...natural.

Yeah, most of my lighting conditions have the picture with intense colors, but I wanted this to have a relaxed, almost sleepy feel, so I tried this color scheme. Glad it worked out

Well, it's not new per se... Just a different palette from what I normally use, but I have definitely colored this way before ^^ but thanks!

And I don't see why that question should be considered rude I use Adobe Photoshop CS5 from sketch to finish.
