Meiles may give Yarifeth a hard time at night, but he makes up for it in the morning! He makes breakfast and does her hair. As long as she doesn't make a big deal about it ^^I'm always using golden palettes for my morning scenes, so I thought I'd use a cooler blue/green one for this one. Hopefully you think it works well! ^^
And as much as I hate marking my work with a URL, I've been seeing a number of them float around the net uncredited lately, so I guess I'm gonna have to do it = /

Ah, they went through a bit of development before I went public with them. Yari started out as a typically sized blood elf (as can be seen in the very first picture I did of them: [link] )
Their story started out very differently as well, and I just kept tweaking it and tweaking it until finally I had character concepts and a plot that I was satisfied with, and so I went public with them
One way I did as well was that I kinda RP'ed with myself. I'd make them send in-game mail to each other and it kinda helped me develop their personalities, as well as retcon parts of it that I didn't like!

The way you did that is similar to the way I developed Katsuri, Dandianni and Sivelrae (my 3 belfs) and their story. Kat was the highest character I had and I trained and untrained her in different professions to gather stuff for the other two to help them out as I leveled them up. Then I started putting notes in with the item transfer and was surprised that Danni was more receptive to Kat than Rae was and their story went from friends to cousins and then (when a friend of mine made a male belf) mother and daughters. I will put their story up on here eventually.
And I've never come across that picture before! They look quite different and I can see you've come a long way with their designs. How long have you been working on them?

I really hate that picture now! It's totally not them. I created them when I rerolled on the EU servers, which would be July 2010. I did already have the idea that I wanted a perverted guy/shy girl relationship, which is what I built everything around on.

Nice! Mine was slightly more complicated and not in my mind until I started messing around with WoW lore. I started out in 2007 with an Ally nelf before Burning Crusade and Lich King came out. When BC came out, I made a belf huntress and it was slow with her. I got mmy nelf to level 55 by grinding like a mofo when Lich was released and as soon as I did, I created a belf DK which became the start of the idea. I got her level capped and then started working on my belf huntress again and then made a belf Lock for selling stuff and as a dump character. So the three belfs and the one nelf are my characters and I come up with everything else.
Haven't played in like, 2 or 3 years but I will eventually get back and get my DK and belf huntress to the new level cap. Until then, your art and what little I've written about their story is all I got to sate my addiction for now. Haha

Haha well back in TBC Yarifeth was a white-haired typically sexy belf who was a lesbian. No story, really, just messing around with a guy I used to like back then. Then I stopped playing, and when I got back on it was towards the end of the LK expansion and I was like OMG BELFS CAN HAVE PIGTAILS NOW!?!?!?! And thus, Yarifeth was rehauled. Then I rolled Meiles and was like "Wow, what a sexy husky voice.. Sounds so pervy." And so I started making him send lewd messages to Yari XD
Well, we're at the last leg of the Cata expansion, so if you're gonna play again, might as well wait for MoP

the cooler palette makes more sense and is a big improvement. If you watch a sunrise it has cooler colors because all the dust and such settled overnight and is warmer in the evening because of all the dust, dirt, and stuff getting kicked up during the day.
