Because my front page is starting to get full of lineart, I thought it's time to do a meme to add a splash of color in there
So... Here's Yoko (yes, again, bear with me!), my TMNT RP character in different TMNT styles.
In case you're wondering who those girls for the liveaction pictures are, that's Kago Ai and Yukie Nakama.
Kago Ai, because in my early college days a couple of my friends would tell me I look like her (although I really don't see it), and Yukie Nakama because she plays Yankumi! She has the yakuza acting experience, hahaha!
I did fix Yukie's face a bit to match Yoko's better, though. And I had to paint bangs on them

I looked at some screenshots and characters sheets (if I could find them) to get a good feel of the style. I also constantly checked back and forth between my drawing and the references to make sure I'm sticking to the style

Thanks, but I have to admit that I did heavily cheat! I used a screenshot of April as a base (this one: [link] ) and fixed the features to turn her into Yoko, therefore I can't take much credit here, haha.

True, but the color choice even the white and blue school uniform fits just the whole mood of that cartoon.
It's like the less serious tone to it. Honestly looks like she was in a lost episode.

Haha thanks. I did notice that nobody in the old toon wore black, not even the bad guys. And they changed a lot of stuff for people (April being a reporter, Baxter being white, etc.) so I thought it'd be fun to change Yoko to a student for this version

Hehe, that's Yukie Nakama's Gokusen picture. Although I did paint on bangs and slightly fixed her smile to fit my character better

Well, going down the food chain, for supporting characters, of course I love Master Splinter 
If you wanna go even lower than that...
I love Rocksteady!
In the villians chain, I do like Ch'rell Shredder, and the 80's Shredder and Krang duo's hilarious! I also like Agent Bishop (well, before he put on that funky bodysuit)
And lower than that, I like the Triceratons, and the elite foot ninja look really spiffy XD

Thanks! Those photos were actually the hardest part! I had to think of what actresses would fit, then hunt for the perfect picture, THEN digitally paint the proper hairstyle on XD
