In Harvest Moon DS Cute, ORIGINALLY there was supposed to be this "best friend system" in which your character can have a "best friend ceremony" with a special girl, in place of marrying a man, and it was taken out before being released in the U.S. However, they left in everything that leads up to your proposal. Meaning, you can court the girl, give her gifts, see all the events and even track your love points with her, she leads you on to think HELLS YEAH LESBIAN MARRIAGE WOOT, and then when you show her the blue feather (for those not familiar with Harvest Moon, the blue feather is basically like an engagement ring) she's like OH SO WHO ARE YOU GIVING THAT TO? O:

Leia, I've given you a hundred large fish and visited you 5 times a day, and even built a pond in my yard for your mermaid ass, and you're going to do this to meee? Dx
