Reading this backwards presents a completely different story, which I interpret as this:
The artist with the ladder notices that the moon is distracting and overpowers the stars, so he erases the moon from the sky so the stars will stand out more. After putting his ladder and paint bucket away, he moonwalks for a while until he gets an epiphany: The stars are lonely without the moon.

I was reading it the wrong way and though the story was the stars were happy about the moon, he erases it and the stars are sad. LOL

Love it! The colors are brilliant. Oddly enough though, it kind of makes sense from either direction. Right to left being the more coherent of the two, but left to right turns makes it seem like he's trying to decide if he should leave the moon up there or take it down, and the stars are getting annoyed at him for his indecisive behavior. Very cute! I love how the background is one continuos image, rather than being the same in each panel.

I find it funny when you read it backwards. It seems more like the guy can't make up his mind about the stars if you read it backwards
