Concept sheet for my character Akna, a personal project I'm working on of a fusion between Mayan and Ancient Yemeni culture. Akna lives under her father's rule in the wild jungles of Suqqala. She decides to take her own journey across Mayan lands when she stumbles upon an uncharted desert. Here she encounters a clash of civilizations where she first witnesses the Ancient South Arabian script and the magic it holds.
Her outfit design started out as her looking to be a queen/princess on the throne, but Akna was more of a warrior/trekker than a stable ruler.
