So I played Mario 64...and Mario Sunshine...and then I actually played Sonic Heroes. While these games are fun, they have one incredibly large flaw. Horrible camera angles, my main problem with 3D games, is actually the WORST in my favorite type of game, Platformers....that is when Platformers are put into the whole 3D realm. 2D platformers kick much more arse.So I took out my frustration by drawing mario pumbling the crap out of his resident camera man, Lakitu. I do love the little guy, but let's face it...he sucks at his job.

Damn camera made me die more than once on Mario 64. Not to mention how many times I've accidentally jumped into oblivion on "Shadow the hedgehog".

To be perfectly honest, I'd have to say that 3D games are just as much fun as the 2D games. Mario 64, Sunshine, and Sonic Heroes really didn't suffer from bad camera problems too much. Games like Kingdom Hearts and Shadow the Hedgehog, while still fun, annoyed the crap out of me with their terrible camera controls. Camera is sort of a mixed bag... that's probably the reason why Resident Evil 4 made the best decision possible with its camera angle (Behind the bloody dude with the gun).
Anyway, this sketch makes me scream with laughter. I want to dish out a baseball bat and bean the cameraman's head in Kingdom Hearts...
