in the years of the 80s Canberra had moved there old Parliament house to the new Parliament house and they got people to design the new Parliament house they agreed on a design called Pharaonic Canberra and they made the parliament a curvy looking pyramid.

They also put an obelisk near the river in the round grass and they put it there and the building of Pharaonic Canberra a few years and they finished in 1996 and the new Parliament house was completed and they left the old Parliament house turning it into a museum.

The Parliament is high in the air is is called the pyramid Parliament and the pyramid has seen many things protests Politicians debating and arguing and even economic crisis of the early to 2000s that lasted a few years.
