After the walk at good old Angel Island, blue hedgehog found his pals, but they weren't alone - they were with old friends that no one knew where were they missing. Fivе friends continued on their way , but they ran into evil genius Dr. Robotnik, who was giving away Phantom Ruby to his creation and an enemy in the last battle - Heavy King. That one begins to soar and turns on. Final battle left him being the only one that is alive from his army. He activates Phantom Ruby and everything begins to shake and suck every being in. Understanding that's something wrong, Robotnik tried to quickly escape but was sucked in. Echidna tried to knock off Ruby from robot's hands, but he failed too. What will happen with remaining heroes?
