I like the angle they're taking with this mystery heart-Gem (I think her name is Taaffeite based off of this post on Tumblr ), and her absolute lunacy plays as a great contrast against how stoic the Diamonds could be. As for my rationale for Taaffeite: it's pink, and it can be shortened to Taffy.
