He always knows how to handle a situation and doesn’t judge others. His knowledge allows him to assess a situation and work on a compromise. Citrus prefers to get results through patience and tolerance.

Citrus is quite kind and compassionate towards others. He can easily relate to someone’s problems and advises when it matters most. Citrus values his friendships and often goes out of his way to help someone.

Citrus sometimes questions his existence because of his new form. He sometimes doubts his ability to accept the two parts of himself. His techno-organic physiology made him secluded from others because of how they treated him before meeting Ilyss and the others. Citrus learns to accept his newfound potential and changes how he sees himself.

Citrus tends to contemplate forgiving others. While he has no problems doing so, forgiveness tends be a principle for him. His reluctance to forgive can sometimes lead to anger, even telling Shining Armor he never wanted to see him again and that they were never friends when he tried to make amends.

Background
Citrus was originally a unicorn scientist from Ponyville who studied science and technology to help improve Equestria. He frequently performed various experiments and created inventions to do so, despite their varying success chances; despite this, Citrus wanted to use his unique talents to help others. One day, he visited his best friend, Shining Armor, to discuss how to uncover a shard the guards found on patrol. When Citrus uses one of his inventions to try and analyze it, the shard somehow reacts to the invention, causing a freak accident that damages Citrus’ body. However, Fortrec, the alchemic program he created, saves Citrus using cybernetics to heal him, giving him a techno-organic body(making Citrus his vessel in progress).

When Citrus woke up and returned home after six weeks, everypony was stunned to see his new changes. Despite knowing that he was still the same Citrus they knew, they all avoided him, not knowing how to treat him because of these changes. Citrus saw Shining Armor as one of the ponies who avoided him and was heartbroken; thinking everypony turned their backs on him, Citrus isolated himself in his lab, working on new inventions and experiments with Fortrec’s help.

When Twilight and her friends want to find a new subroutine for Klink, they immediately go for Citrus. However, Citrus immediately rebuked them and tried to alienate them. Tony and Clank manage to get past Citrus’ security system and attempt to ask him in person; however, they end up seeing his cybernetics. Unfazed, they convince him to come out of his lab. While reluctant, Citrus leaves his lab and slowly warms up to the team. However, an attempt to befriend the other ponies who quickly excluded him led to him locking himself in his lab again, hurting from how he was seen. Rarity and Twilight learn the reason behind Citrus’ isolation and discover the truth behind his treatment. A heartfelt talk with a former neighbor and a mental conversation with Fortrec leads to Citrus trying again, with his invention assisting a class project leading him to gain acceptance from the other ponies. Citrus thanks his newfound friends for his help and finally builds the subroutine, joining Ilyss and the Friend Squad.

When Shining Armor comes to Ponyville to visit him, Citrus immediately turns his back on him, still upset with him for abandoning him during the accident. The team's attempts to help the two reconcile lead to Citrus berating Shining for turning his back on him, telling him that "as far as he's concerned, Shining was never his friend" and that he never wants to see him again(making April think back to when she held a grudge), breaking his former friend's heart. Castigator uses Citrus' situation to create Unforgiver, a Vindictor who feeds on unforgiveness and inflicts it on others. April tries to convince Citrus to forgive Shining Armor for his actions by relating to his situation when Unforgiver puts Ponyville under his spell. Citrus' refusal to forgive his former friend only fuels Unforgiver's power and makes him harder to defeat. Only when Shining arrives and genuinely apologizes for turning his back on him does he find it in his heart to forgive him, defeating Unforgiver and rekindling their lost friendship.

Powers and Abilities
Citrus possesses an unrivaled intelligence. His knowledge of science, technology, history, and chemistry lets him find solutions easily. He knows how to create and tinker with inventions, understanding how they work. Citrus even learned physics, robotics, coding, etc., after becoming techno-organic.

Citrus can still use magic like other unicorns but on a different scale. His techno-organic enhancements infuse his horn with cybernetic programming. This change causes anything he targets with his magic to become enhanced with technology. His magic even allows him to connect to electronics and access them.

Citrus’ techno-organic physiology gives him a library of cybernetics to use. An ocular implant in his eye can see from spectral filters and connect to electronic devices to collect data or information. His unique physiology gives him immunity to organic or computer viruses. Various tools have been inserted into his body to suit his needs. Citrus’ new body gives him an unlimited power source to keep him running. However, he does retain organic traits, such as needing food or sleep.

However, that friendship ended when Shining reluctantly turned his back on him when Citrus became techno-organic; Citrus resents his former friend for abandoning him and tried not to think about him.
