Even thought Valentine is very even tempered, she wasn't born in domestic life. Instead her handler captured her as a young pup and raised her in hopes of getting a big bad guard kukuri. The trip also taught Danny that angry prairie moms are in fact very scary and dangerous. Who would have known!

Not all Kukuris start their life as a tame, and sometimes all it takes is a special meeting. Even if the said special meeting was in middle of a night in a trashcan.
