Nixzy takes a brief swim in the ocean while enjoying the scenery.Been a while since I posted an actual art piece, and not an old sketch from two years ago or a mug & coasters. I'm glad that found the time to work on and finish this, especially since college has been kicking my ass recently.
For a bit of backstory, this is a redraw of a much older drawing of Nixzy, back in 2021, back when I was still trying to come to terms on being both a furry and merfur (I'm still trying to be more confident about it nowadays, too). I would post the older drawing, and all of my other old art pieces, but they don't really look that good, and lack consistency. Maybe I could do some before and after posts, I don't know.
Also, fun fact: Nixzy can't actually breathe underwater. However, he does have the ability to hold his breath for 10-15 minutes, so at least he can still spend some time underwater!
Lastly, regarding this piece, I'm actually happy for once with how it turned out, so I hope you all enjoy it, too!
