Take note of the disclaimer XD it's me yeah me! so if u don't agree with this reason then don't flame me O.oSo yeah this is my reason for why Link doesn't talk XD if you have played TP then u'll know that when Ilia gives u that whistle it seems like its totally useless!!!!!!! and yeah this isn't the first zelda game in which u get something that would be useful at the beginning in the end -__- so in the end this is his reaction. I say "no more pushover" cuz Link is kinda too nice i mean he does everything he's asked even tho pple *coughmidnacough* treat him badly (this includes the stupid baby Malon who insults u upon entering his shop pfft!)
Hmm i seem to be on a roll of uploading stuff this weekend
(as u can see this drawing was actually sketched on febuary 1st and i waited till now to color cuz now im feeling better so i have to take this oportunity to draw a lot especially since im barely starting school again so that means mountains of work are just around the corner O_O)I always draw Midna as a shadow LOL sooooo lazy XDDDD
Ok ok im done with my rambling so read the comic (the last panel is a little messy but u'll figure it out soon enough LOL)

at the point in the game in which they give it to u it's practically useless cuz i mean you can warp and u already traveled a lot w/o it

But Epona is usefull for go top the forgotten village. Bridge - village is a loong way with bad critters

yeah but remember the first time u have to go there u dont have the whistle so after going all that way and back w/o the whistle its kinda stupid to have it towards the end

Oh, and another thing about the whistle.
I love how you play it through the mouthpiece part of the whistle, but there are buttons/holes on the unused part of the whistle.

Oh my effing God. This is EXACTLY what went through my mind when I spent 10+ hours looking for all of those GODDAMNED POES ONLY TO GET TWO HUNDRED RUPEES. Sure, you get rupees whenever you talk to the kitty who you helped, but what else in the game do you have to buy?
-Chances are you already bought the Magic Armor to get to the 44th floor of the Cave of Ordeals to get to two poes (At least I did, because I'm a wuss D8>
-You find more than enough bombs/chuchusorpotions/arrows/whatever anywhere, so you don't need to buy them

hahaha the rupees only come in handy only when ur using the magic armor XDDDDDD so yeah i really dont have to buy anything else but i want to finish all the quests XD

especially at the beginning where she has this huge dialouge about using the "A" button. It really sucks when you like playing the game over and over, because you can't skip it...

I think If link was allowed to talk he wouldnt be allowed to be hero of time. He'd probly let everyone know how useless they are.. and yes, getting that whistle so far into the game was kinda stupid. I could of used it when I couldnt warp across the map and had to run from Zora's Domain back to Faron Woods..

i read somewhere that the real reason he doesnt talk is cuz pple have an idea of how he's supposed to be and sound so they don't make him talk so pple dont become disilussioned

I think I read somthing like that in Electronic Gamers Mag. The creators didnt want to mess with peoples feelings towards link by giving him a voice or emotions.. somthing about it toying with their heads

Ah. That was one issue I had in Twilight Princess that I didn't particularly like: getting certain items (the whistle, the largest wallet, etc) towards the end of the game, when you didn't frickin' need 'em...

well actually getting the largest wallet at the end of the game is good if u decide to use the magic armor for the last fights (the armor wasn't very useful for me cuz i only had 600 rupees so it didnt last enough) but the whistle was completely useless!!!!!!

The first time through, I managed to get the Magic Armor with only the second wallet, and 600 rupees was more than enough. However, having the biggest one earlier on would have helped out with the Castle Town Malo Mart mini quest...
...btw, did the music and such in that Malo Mart unnerve anyone else?

I'd only really gotten around to it after I'd finished. You only really get the double clawshot at the end anyway. But yeah, I felt so irritated at the fact that there were no shooting gallerys in Twilight Princess ;_;

im not exactly sure how much i lasted but i know i got to the part where i had a bunch of those beam thingies and i had no arrows! so i had to use the big chain thingy and i suck at dodging so much I died XD

I just shot at them from that raised platform before jumping down. Thats how I did a lot of the chambers acctualy lol XD
