That's right... more of my mouse art, but this time, I tried a new style. Comic 4-panel format, and a smaller paint brush tip, and the end results are fairly good, in my opinion. So, presented here, is my first mouse drawn comic strip. Enjoy!Seems that poor Daphne never gets a break. Whenever there's a mystery, she's always the first one to get caught, and then found tied up somewhere. Well, seems that she's finally snapped, after Velma comes across the bound and gagged redhaired vixen.
So, Daphne devises a plot to make Velma just as desirable as she is. But as any Scooby-Doo fan knows, the gang's plans don't always work exactly as they had hoped.

gawd (drools). this is why I loved this show. i wonder what the producers were like in real life. they had to be gag snobs and DID fanatics. they are the ones who pretty much started the modern damsel craze (aside from black and white movies in the twenties). im sure they would be very proud of your comic.

That's a real funny scenario (though I'll quibble with Daphne about Velma not being sexy). She does look different with the makeover.

Thanks, I thought it was a funny idea, too. As for the not sexy thing, that's basically how the show depicted her as being, so I ran with the idea. They always made her out to be the bookworm that no one payed attention to much. So did something drastic with her.
In MY mind, it goes like this... Fred finally realized that he wasn't all that into Daphne, as he thought she was always too self-absorbed in her looks for his tastes, and turned instead to Velma, when he realized that a girl with brains can be very sexy. And she didn't judge him on looks, because that's just not the way Velma is.
Daphne, on the other hand, isn't really all that vain, just misunderstood, as she's highly self-concious and thinks if she doesn't look good, people won't like her. Shaggy realizes this, as to be honest, he's one of the most level-headed of the bunch, always being the one that DOESN'T want to go chasing after ghosts. He notices Daphne for who she is, and realized her has a fondness for red-heads and damsels in distress. Thus explaining why Daphne appeared in later series with Shaggy and Scooby, but Velma and Fred were mysteriously MIA.
I know, odd imagination, but hey, it makes sense, right?
