I haven't uploaded the character references for these two, so a quick background~

The girl is named Adelaide, and in this she's a tier I at Varche. She's in the Rational Class at Varche.
The guy is named Jared, and he's the leader (tier VII) of the Rational Class at Varche.

Adelaide: Walking down the hall
Jared: Sees Adelaide and keeps her in the corner of his eye until they're right next to each other. Once they're parallel with each other he stops, reaches out, and puts his hand on Adelaide's head.
Adelaide: Shocked, she stops suddenly and freezes up.
Jared: Steps in front of Adelaide and takes his hand off her head. Hello there! You're the new Rations recruit, aren't ya?
Adelaide: Still shocked, she can only stammer some words out. Uhm, y-y-yes, I am...
Jared: Grinning at the newbie's shyness, he poked her nose and ruffled her hair. C'mon, I'm not that scary, am I?
Adelaide: Slowly fixing her hair, she loosened up a bit. N-no, you're not really scary at all. I'm just... N-not good with new people...
Jared: He laughed, leaning against the nearest wall for support. Not good with new people? Oh dear, you're going to have a bad time here if you can't handle a simple conversation with a stranger. Anyways, I'm Jared, the Rational Class leader. Well, I mean, I'm guessing you've already noticed that I'm a leader, seeing as you're a Rational so you've probably already read all of the textbooks and guides to Varche, so you probably know that the colour of the neckties show what tier someone is.
Adelaide: "Wait... He's the Rational Class leader? But... He seems... So... Whatever, it's fine, you'll be fine," I-I'm Adelaide. And yes, I've already ready all of the subject matter needed for the curriculum, all the info I could find about the school, and all the extra credit things for class work I could.
Jared: "Hmm... So she's basically the stereotypical Rational. Great. Well, guess it just makes my job of breaking her out of her shell more fun!" So... Where are you headed? You do know it's Saturday, right? No classes.
Adelaide: Oh, I know. I was just heading towards my dorm, I just went to talk to a few teachers about the summer work. Speaking of my dorm... I should probably get going.
Jared: He frowned, a bit exasperated. "Well, I guess she's not ready for a large level of interaction yet." Alright. I'll leave you to keep going on your way.
