It's basically trial and error. But i can recommend searching around deviantart for photoshop tutorials, curves or actions, there is a lot of helpful stuff around here

para ser publicada hay de dos maneras: una de que ya la vendas con la tipografia y todo lista para el catalogo, otra, que tu seas la fotografa de el lugar, y ahi puedes tu poner lo que tu quieras. yo no veo mucha diferencia entre tus fotos y las que veo publicadas en el exterior, por eso creo que si es factible ver una tuya en un tiempo (bueno, obvio que yo no la voy a ver en londres, asi que tienes que ser demasiado genial para que me llegue aca en mexico en donde vivo... :S )
el chiste en todo este ambito es tener un poco de suerte para ser contratado y los contactos para que se te pueda ver, por que el talento ya lo traes. tal vez refinar tu estilo propio de fotografa/diseΓ±adora para que sea mas facil reconocerte sobre todos

Intento encontrar un estilo propio de fotografΓa, pero estoy en el estadio de experimentos por el momento, creo que va a pasar mucho tiempo hasta que estarΓa a menos contenta con mis fotos.

a todos nos va a tomar mucho tiempo. aun creyendo que tenemos un estilo, es raro que no cambie hasta que ya despues de varios meses o aΓ±os, podamos ver el estilo... igual pasa que tengamos epocas y ahora tu puedas estar en tu epoca azul

What a bleak and lifeless view it is across the water. On this battered boat ramp, colorful EM appears like an offering to the pale and nebulous powers on the far side of the river.
Compostion, colors and DOF are absolutely awesome. This shot would actually work very well too if it was blown up to billboard proportions. Just imagine walking the drizzle-grey streets of London and seeing this photography king-size across a wall or somesuch surface. That should be an impressive and uplifting experience.
I hope your finished works are all kept safe somewhere at the highest resolution. The way your talent and art develops, they might be in demand in the future.

on a billboard? in london? i think id faint from all the happiness and excitement 
yes i do keep them full size now, although i didnt use to until a few months ago, and i kind of regret it. oh well

It's true that there are a great many good artists out there, but better? They are different, you are different, I don't say that lightly, because nothing is worse than chasing a flawed dream or a mirage. But while many of the good ones are rather too good (read: too slick), you always surprise with shots that are full of heart and soul. These shots of yours don't jump into the face of the viewer, they've got a more quiet quality to them. And believe me, they are longer lasting. I have a habit of going back to work I collected; simply to check on myself. Do I still find this or that work smashing? What are my feelings now? What can I see in these works that make me understand why I favoured them in the first place? And so on. Many of your shots do not only stand the test of time, no, they actually have grown on me. I appreciate them more than I did in the first place.
Of course, I can only speak for myself. But I would be pretty shaken if I had to learn that I'm the only one feeling this way.
And yes, on a billboard in London. Naturally, I don't know if this is ever going to happen, and yes, chances are pretty slim. But it should. I really imagined walking the grey and often drab streets of London and then to suddenly come across Disarm Me, covering a huge space. That would be an extraordinary experience; one I'm sure many would share.
Predicting success when considering all these fickle-hearted people out there would mean to lean out the window in a dangerous way. But you should stick to your guns (meaning that you should stick to being led by intuition and feel), because you hardly ever get anything wrong. Leave the slick work to the greasy people and go your own way.
