Description Stumbled upon a video saying restrictions on your pixel palette would help improve your spriting skills. I tried it out and here's the result ~ my most beloved childhood hero... Mega Man!

Mega Man is the reason I even do pixel art. He was always drawn on printer/notebook paper all throughout primary school. The games and their great design, music and style just nailed it for me as a kid - especially even now!

But as far as my sprites here go, I prefer the first tri-color gray Mega Man most. It's actually the last one I did too.

Oh look, it's Mega Man for Atari! Or at least something largely similar. Would've been interesting to see Mega Man on Atari rather than NES; perhaps if the gaming crash of '83 hadn't happened...

Fun fact: The 1st generation 8-bit sprites looked more like the first Mega Man you drew because of limited memory space on the cartridges they had to use... In hindsight this was a great thing because it forced the art teams to be more creative with the limited capacity they had to work with...

Pretty cool pixel sprite work btw
