Despite Shinnok's efforts, survivors are popping up left and right and are hellbent on getting some payback, but there's one individual who wants it much, much, much more! Gohan had been freed from his curse, but because of the misdeeds he carried out in Shinnok's name, he contemplated suicide, but fortunately Killua and the others managed to talk him out of it and redeem himself by destroying the man who he was forced to serve: Shinnok!
Also, after another brutal battle, Envy lost all of his previous memory and thanks to Naruto & the others, Envy is now a Road Warrior, a heroic, rebellious biker, much to the disgust of his fellow homonculai, Wrath, who finally awoke from a 30 year coma after the Homonculai Massacre, which left all the other members of their race dead.
Quan Chi began summoning undead warriors called Revenants to assist him and Shinnok in destroying the world, but what they didn't know was that Kabuto & Orochimaru have developed a unique countermeasure that causes some Revenants like Goku, Gon & Itachi to betray the NetherRealm and fight for Earth.
Kotal Kahn's forces were terribly affected thanks to Erron Black & Torr, betraying the Kahn; their new mission was to kill Shinnok & Wrath!
Wrath became Public Enemy No.01 worldwide when he interrupted a funeral/tribute of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper & commiting inhuman crimes across the globe! The interruption of Piper's tribute was enough to bring back Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio & Rob Van Dam, who weren't in WWE at the time, and Wrath was their target. Now it's personal!
Within the shadows, WWE Hall of Famer, Stone Cold Steve Austin issued a challenge to over 270 warriors, superstars and legends...all of them have accepted...even The Terminator himself! Now it's time to Raise Some Hell!
