Adrien and Chat are separate people and happened to become very adorable, hot boyfriends.
AU in which the miraculous is given as a way for a completely new life, erasing the holder's previous memories and existence from before the Transformation. Transformation is permament - the holder becomes a superhero 24/7.
It wasn't Adrien who got the miraculous in this AU. It was another boy. But they still clicked together and believe that it was a love at first sight.
Chat jumps by every now and then, stays in Adrien's room, they have fun, they do a lot of boyfriends stuff.
Just being themselves.
