In the world of Qwertyuioppas, ghosts don't exist in the same way we usually think they do. Most of the time when one dies, their soul is severed from their Mortal Coil, the tether that binds the soul to the body. Once severed, the mind is recorded onto the soul as it makes it's way from the physical world towards the Heart of Yggdrasil, where it's experiences are forever recorded into the Records of Q and they are either sent to Absolute Zero to find eternal rest or are sent to the Reincarnation Wheel to be reborn as a new soul. As such, wandering spirits are not really a thing in the Qwertyuioppas Multiverse...

So what we usually associate with ghosts, souls wandering the physical plane that can't cross over, aren't really souls... rather, they are broken remnants that usually dissipate into nothingness. This usually happens if someone dies in such a traumatic way that the soul itself becomes damaged and cannot reconstitute itself. The closest it can get to maintaining itself is to find other broken remnants and form what is called a "Spiritual Amalgam", which takes on the appearance of what we would refer to as a ghost.

And that is what this guy is. This, guys, gals, and non-binary pals, is a character concept made to explain this concept of a Spiritual Amalgam. As such, he has no true identity, only broken memories and fractured thoughts of the souls that make up his existence. Usually, such Amalgams are dealt with by Hugo the Spirit of Halloween, as leaving them alone for too long results in them wreaking havoc on the physical world as they lash out in fear and paranoia, unable to move on as they are tormented by their broken existence. This guy, however, is one such Amalgam, but unlike others has a chance to carve out an existence for himself... provided he can form enough meaningful connections to build an identity of his own...

Just a concept for a ghost OC that I thought of... despite the fact that Spooky Month is over and we are days away from Thanksgiving and well into the Holiday Season. What even is my mind? Anyways, make of it what you will and enjoy!
