Description
The two plump aliens took a good look at themselves in the mirror. Admiral Ty'Ron Xanthus had put in a request to get a new suit for Kodai, using it as an excuse to get himself a new suit. Kodai naturally was the one who gave him the idea and after much coaxing he agreed. That said, despite the brief joy he got from having a new uniform it was quickly dashed by the fact that it felt ridiculously tight on him. Not surprising; military uniforms are not designed for plus-sized people.

"Looking pretty good, eh Admiral?" Kodai called, patting the plump feline on the shoulder. Ty'Ron looked less than convinced, grabbing the soft flesh of belly that was obscuring his belt. He had a feeling that the uniform jacket would pop open if he took a long enough breath.

"You think so?" Ty'Ron asked, allowing his insecurities to seep through. "It's just... I've gotten so fat over the years since becoming admiral, and I've received more than enough warnings from the higher-ups."

"Then they'll have to deal with me," Kodai responded determinedly. "Since I requested you be on the Arc-V, you're MY responsibility!" Ty'Ron nearly did a double take at that. Kodai could be selfishly kind at times, but this was stupidly selfish.

"You make it sound like your MY superior officer when technically I outrank you..."

"Ranks have nothing to do with friendship, dude," Kodai said, patting his back and heading towards the door. "Now come on! The banquet will be starting in 30 minutes!" Ty'Ron rubbed his back, a reassured smile growing on his face. He always felt guilty about his weight, but Kodai knew how to make him feel better. He was truly grateful to have a friend like the Extra Soft Soldier and the Beast of Hope and Possibility.

"Coming!" Ty'Ron called back, following shortly after him...
