"Look, I don't wanna disappoint you, but you've got the wrong guy! I mean, technically you don't, but I ain't the fancy pants prince you think I am! All I do is help clean my grandfather's shrine, practice martial arts, and laze about all day comfortably getting fat off of takoyaki! Look at me! Do I LOOK like a prince to you?!"

Just in time for APEril, and because he was technically born yesterday, he was born on April 1st! So that makes this stocky little primate an April Fool!

Anyways, ladies and gentlemen, meet Xingzhe, the Prince of Monkeys! Or at least, that's his title according to his tribe. He comes from a long line of intelligent primates that lived in a secluded part of the jungle, hidden from the world. This tribe is said to be the saviors of a great calamity that nearly ended the world before their leader, the Monkey King, sealed away a great demon by imprisoning it's essence within seven sacred artifacts that were scattered throughout the many realms of Yggdrasil. And as the distant ancestor to this legacy, Xingzhe has a reputation to uphold...

Not that it matters to him, as he would rather sit on his lazy ass and gorge on takoyaki all day, which he acquires by sneaking into the human settlements outside the jungle canopy. Which usually ends with him getting scolded by his grandfather as it is forbidden for his kind to interact with the human world. On top of that, he doesn't really consider himself to be a prince, let alone the ancestor to a great legend, as he things it's all just a fairy tale made up to partake in some pointless martial arts training. Of course, this being the Qwertyuioppas Multiverse, he's about to get a bit of a rude awakening...

Also, for those of you oldtaku out there, you might notice his design is based of an ape NPC from an obscure anime that I saw a clip of from on Twitter a year ago. Don't ask me what the anime was as the source clip is probably lost to time now. Naturally, of course, I added some pudge to this design because I'm me; though I tried to make him look "stout" rather than outright fat. Of course, I like to think that he sees himself as a hog in comparison to his much slimmer primate brothers. Not that he isn't wrong as all that takoyaki seems to be catching up with him; but compared to someone like, say, Kodai Lau Makis-Zaku, he's a freakin' twig!
