I finished it.. *stares at the screen* Gosh I really did.. O 7 O
I believe I can be proud of me and my first ever serious wolf drawing! Besides I think it was a good choice to combine some naturalistic realism with one of my OC's *smiles*
BUT DAT FUR WAS A REAL CHALLENGE! D:

Well, sweet, because you're sitting ages on it; honestly! ^^
Besides you need to know in which direction it grows, to portrait it properly. Simple, monotone brush strokes won't do; I've read about it in some tutorials and tried out many varieties of colouring the fur. Indeed, for a better optic you simply need to follow some basic rules ^^
Everything concerning human anatomy/hair/etc. makes me feel like a predator on my own territory; I might have to fight with some poses/angles and whatnot, and I am not perfect in every pose I draw.. But I know where my mistakes are lying and what I'll probably need to change the next time I work on the same pose.
With animals.. it's like a totally different area I've never stepped into before :') I need to take care of small things, as well as obvious ones ^^
