While almost through the sketch, I've suddenly figured out that I have never drawn Kelvin serious before O__ó; *le derp*I mean he is always this happy, naive, funny, adorable and a sort of a 'big teddy' guy... But serious? He can be. And hell, he can!
I think it was just about time to portrait him this way; half way through his transformation into a half-draconic state.
Can you see the tail curling in the background? |D Means he is horny more dragon than human now
Admittedly, one of my longest works.. EVER. Ripping clothes was a true fun to draw (my first time to ever do that lol).. equally to 7 layers of ffffff nice scales!

I am really glad that you like the result; those scales kept killing me and I am glad to have finally finished those XD I mean.. it took me literally 3 hours? With pauses and a lot of coffee in-between, but... 3 hours?! XD

I can under stand that completely. When you want to make scales look perfect you have to put alot of time into making them individualy shine or look perfect. Good thing you did have to put scales all over his entire body. You'd probably lose it then. XD Even with coffee.

Nice work of his clothes (well, what remain of them XD) and the way you represented this transitional state and Kelvin's feelings (something like anger, I suppose?)

But yes, Kelvin is veeeeery powerful, however it takes him a while to find out and understand just what he is capable of doing :'D <3
Yeah his clothes...... a fashion store/outlet, would actually ear a whole lot on money if he were the daily customer; if he transforms, his clothes always rip apart, obviously because of the size growth and muscle difference between two states *coughs* His pants need to be like... damn good to be able to withstand such a process. Who ends up stitching them, if they can be stitched? Calir, dun dun dunnnn XD
He is never amused by the half dragon transforming spontaneously, but sometimes it's needed, especially if they are currently fleeing XD

Auch ein tolles Bild; und eins worauf ich schon fast gewartet habe. Er sah bisher immer so lieb und nett aus; Kelvin mal so zu erleben ist richtig cool! Du hast den Ausdruck echt gut getroffen *Q*
Faszinierend finde ich diese Teil-Transformation. Er glitzert. Ich will ihn antouchen >'D Aber wär wohl aktuell keine gute Idee. Beschützt er Calir *-*?

Und ja, Kelvin ist an sich absolut süß und schnuffig; so ein richtiger Teddy-Bear, wenn man es so bezeichnen will XD Aber, er kann auch ernst sein. Bloß übernimmt diese Eigenschaft immer Calir.. und da er Kelvin und die kleine Gian von der Gefahr so gut es geht zu bewahren versucht (da er eben deutlich erfahren ist als die beiden, auch was Überlebenskunst angeht). Und deswegen kann Kelvin ein mehr oder minder unbekümmertes Leben führen, solange Calir da ist ^^
Aber man sollte den Halbdrachen nicht unterschätzen! Er ist kann ganz schnell, ganz gefährlich werden :'O Also seine Fähigkeiten sollte man echt nicht missachten! *gasp*
Und jaaaaah XD Transformieren tut er sich eigentlich völlig von einem Augenblick zum anderen, aber ich wollte diese Millisekunde dazwischen festhalten, und habe deswegen den wichtigen Moment etwas künstlerisch verdeutlicht XD
Der Grundgedanke war, wie du so wunderbar erraten hattest, ja - Calir zu beschützen. Der Medik will es natürlich nicht, weil er ein absoluter Pazifist ist, aber Kelvin geht da manchmal ins extreme und deswegen muss gar Calir teilweise dazwischenfunken und den Halbdrachen ein wenig wegschleifen XDDDD *hüstel*
Aber ja, aufgrund dessen, dass sowohl Kelvin, als auch Gian ihr Überleben Calir zu verdanken haben; versucht der Halbdrache es zumindest irgendwie gut zu machen XD
