*doing this before my trip to Brazil lol <3*How Youko finds his way to defeat Yori:
He realizes she could control her body temperature (when she used those balls that grow in contact with skin, she would lower her temperature of her hands so it wouldn't grow in her own skin). Yori's best defense was her dodging ability due to the fact that she's so effin fast, but Youko also knows enough of medicine that he knew that even a youkai with their body in a low temperature would have to move slower.
So he grows an entire forest of Ojigi plants -the same one he used against Karasu- and hide himself. She realizes the plants move being attracted to heat+movement so she's forced to lower the temperature of her entire body to keep running around without being perceived. With that and a surprise attack, Yori was an easy prey.
BUT he recognizes her and let her live.

Oh gosh! The end of the cool battle story between Youko and Yori is SO touching!
Yon-kitty, this artwork is very well executed! The glowing white background and the two beautifully rendered characters go together nicely! The way that Youko and Yori are intertwined as well as their expressions are very well done!
At first, I thought that Yori was slowly dying while Youko was showing remorse. But after I read the description, that wasn't the case.
Kudos to you for this wonderful artwork Yon-kitty!

Haha, my koorime character Mika can lower her body temperature too. However, since she's a Koorime, she's already cold..XP But the neat trick with that is when she lowers her temperature, her blood will turn thicker, which means she'll lose less blood when she's injured. She starts breathing out snowflakes, even in the middle of the hottest summer afternoon when she's like that. I dunno if Yori could lower her temperature to near subzero levels, but it's a neat little trick. XD
