Close up of the Pyro from [link] .From the outset I'd wanted this outfit to be both shiny and form fitting. So, it kinda ended up as a bit of a PVC or latex body suit. ._.
As such, a took a few cues from this picture and because of that, the initial design of the pyro had long hair too.
I'd also always intended her to have her eyes and hair exposed too, because a full face mask just isn't that sexy. |:
The orange hair is basically just me wanting to add a bit more colour into the mix.
The face mask is based on, as you may have guessed, the kind of mask you may see a fighter pilot wear. I've always found those to be cool and it makes the wearer look a bit like a ninja. Or, a sky ninja. Or a sky ninja WITH MISSILES. O_O
Also, I know that suit isn't particularly fireproof, but that's okay, this pyro is already really hot stuff and therefore wouldn't catch on fire anyway.

So yeah, overall I'd say the way the pyro turned out has to be my favourite of the lot. :3

Yeah, I've seen that message before. I've also seen the exact same message referring to the pyro as a "him."
My conclusion, therefore, is that Valve be trollin'.

Well, the original pyro in the game wears a full face mask to prevent getting burned. This mask in my version is less for burn protection and more for looking hot.
