I've watched Godzilla 2 twice. One of the most impresses is how protective of Dr. Serizawa is. Somehow I just think he looks like Godzilla's stepfather.Related content

I love that this Serizawa is on Godzilla’s side and sacrifices himself to save the monster. His death in KOTM is poetic since in the very first 1954 Godzilla movie, Serizawa sacrificed himself to take Godzilla down with him using the Oxygen Destroyer.
