On August 28th 1980, on the Island of Monar, two large monsters, known as Kaiju, engaged in battle: The ocean dwelling, horned beast known as "Biggugurīn" and the winged blue behemoth and resident of the island, "Rezora". This battle ended in a victory for Rezora, with Biggugurīn retreating back into the ocean, allowing Rezora to remain on the island in peace
