Description So I was bored and decided to record my voice when reading a page out of my history textbook... and it was awful. I always have people asking me where I'm from at school because of my apparent accent when reading, and I never new exactly why before. Now that I've heard my voice from a recording, I can see why people ask. I pronounced words wrong all over the place(even the simplest ones) and had my "L's" sound like "R" and my "R's" sounded like they either weren't there, or made a "W" sound.
Then, out of curiosity, I recorded myself reading my Latin translation homework, and all the mistakes I made when reading English were gone. Granted I don't know what most of the words mean due to me forgetting pretty much everything over the summer, but I was still able to pronounce the words correctly.
Basically, I have a difficult time pronouncing English correctly but know what it's saying, and I can speak Latin out loud just fine, but barely know what it means. I don't get this at all.

VOICE, WHY U NO CHOOSE LANGUAGE TO SPEAK
