Basically, looking for a GDevelop template that's ready to go?
All you have to do is swap out the pictures and sound effects?
Well, here you go.
(Sorry about the title, but lol I'm a self-appointed idiot with all of this game-making stuff, so I thought it'd be appropriate. )
Just download the file, open the .rar file on your computer, open GDevelop, then go into the 'UnderwaterTemplate' folder on your computer.
From there, find the file named 'UnderwaterTemplate.json'.
This will open up an already made game that points out what everything does. (Which is great for simple-minded people like me who got COMPLETELY overwhelmed by the online manual, and who didn't get any actual help from a grumpy mod over on the forum.)
Take your time and read through it. Trust me, it's not that long and it's stupidly simple to understand.
If you'd prefer a ready-to-go version without all the instructions (just swap out the pics and sound effects), then open the file named 'UnderwaterTemplate1.json' or 'BirdSkyTemplate.json'.
Remember, these are just starting off points. It's up to you to use your imagination and make a way more awesome game. Which, believe you me, is NOT difficult to do.
If someone as dense as me can use one of these templates to make something like this
then I know for a fact you can make something WAY better and a lot more awesome.
