Inspired from my bathroom which... always floods. ;_; Why don't the curtains work? WHY? Well, anyways, it bothers me so I drew a picture. Oh my, haven't drawn in over a month. So glad yearbook is over so I can draw lots again. T u T/ β₯ I had so much fun. I missed drawing so much. Q - Q
Wanted to practice painting, perspective, blending background+foreground, and just backgrounds in general. ;u; OC Aternity, as per usual.

Unlike your previous effortγtill human voices wake usγ, this focuses on usage of distorted perspective for an expressive sense of storytelling, therefore it makes a contrast with the previous which was centred on the girl herself & emphasis of wholesome forms, tonework & an ethereal sense of innocence, charming portraiture. Both are beautiful in own right with a unique approach, & the flow of moody atmosphere & the same character b/w the two makes for a broad story consistently connected. Anyways great work here!

Sort of sorry about the "horror" reflection, I actually intended something broader but the "fish" spirits placed horror first into my mind. And her expression was hauntingly pretty...
And I'm so glad that you would share your ethereal character arts here, the more one studies this art-style the more immersive it is.
I don't like writing and reading that much, but I have an exceptional spot for critiquing and always want to return the best favour when commenting.
