Description
A character design I created for an Instagram character arena.

Back story:
This is Usagi, a legendary warrior tasked by the heavens to come down to Earth every 100 years and train/fight alongside destiny's chosen member of the royal family, against the encroaching demon army. Quite and a bit of a loner, Usagi usually prefers his solitude as long as its accompanied by his special blend of carrot sake.

Usagi's latest protege, however, has been chosen to be the young princess. It's the first time that a woman, or a child, has been chosen to face the demons. While this has been a shock to the kingdom (and Usagi) at large, it has been especially harder for her father (groomed to be Usagi's next pupil) to accept.
