It was a bad weather day. In it's way the first Shaman encountered himself on his journey, the clouds slowly darkening and the fog around him beginning to limit his field of view.
'Just keep walking, you'll know when you run into something' He told himself when something ran into him. He almost bucked at the sudden sensation, only stopping himself in the last second when he realized it was a... Foal? Out here? On its own? Where on earth was her dam?
Well, for now she'd stay with him at least, walking on in hopes of finding a similar looking mare. Hm, he wondered, would he have foals of his own someday? At least so far he didn't have the best of luck with the ladies, the few he'd encountered ending up with another herd, but that did give him some more freedom.
They walked along for a while longer, if not for hours, the filly occasionally seeming to find it funny to just run off where he couldn't see her only to jump against him the next moment. He did scold her occasionally, but hearing a panicked Whinny in the distance, he instead rushed to follow the noise, soon seeing the silhouette of a horse with the little foal running off towards it.
He could tell the dam was happy to have her foal back, what he didn't realize until watching them for a bit though was another foal peaking at him from under the mare's stomach. Two foals? That got to be a load to take care of alone. The little roan filly he brought back however was now standing between him and her mother, glaring up at him just like her sister, the mare's eyes following shortly after.
