I finally got access to a scanner!I'm pretty sure this is from 2007. I was testing to see if my markers were still working. I did the drawings freehand in ink, so there are some visible errors I made. (lol)
The girl at the top is just an OC. I wanted to draw her in an Asian brush style. (I used the Sakura Pigma brush pen, btw.) I think she turned out okay.
The brunette girl on the left is a character I created when I was in high school. She's supposed to be a cute, spunky girl (think: Rikku from FFX... although I created her before FFX came out). My style has changed a lot since then, so she looks more like she's drawn in the style of Yasuhiro Kano (of Mx0 and Pretty Face fame).
The girl on the right is my attempt at drawing/coloring in an '80s/early-'90s-inspired manga style. Since I don't have that many colors, I just used yellow and brown for her hair. The splotchy hair look came out surprisingly well.
The pink-haired girl is drawn in a more anime style. You can see that I sort of messed up on coloring her face. :S
