Description
2 out of 3 of the main trio have finally been referenced. Why am I not doing this in order? Well, Epsilon's story is a mess so it's constantly being revamped, and this guy's power is weird so I'm cleaning up the details to his power. I'm still going to be changing stuff with it over time so when I actually start the story, his magic may change some.ALSO, he's the last character of my OCs who wears knee high/almost knee high boots so we can stop with that trend, your welcome (my excuse is that my story's setting is in the future and knee high boots are in fashion ok).

Personality:
Enthusiastic, extroverted, bubbly, ambitious, friendly, and someone who naturally knows how to get along with people. He's good at reading people and finding ticks and habits of theirs so he uses his observation skills to charm people... unintentionally. He just would like to get along with people since hes happiest around people to talk to and simply be in the company of.
History (DONE, but may edit a few details... this is so long asdkfljeqwirjqoiek):
Calvin Erikos was born in a rural area that didn't have any kids his age and lived with his mom. The village was fairly pacifist and didn't discriminate between the factions and the villagers, albeit few, were very mixed with a diversity of faction affiliations. Most villagers were the elderly and most families with kids moved to the suburbs for better education opportunities. He was sociable and liked to help out the people in the village (mainly the old grandmas who baked him cookies and cakes) but he was also what the village called the "neighborhood brat" since he also got in trouble a lot. He was a mama's boy and would cling onto her sometimes.
One day, he was playing football by himself, and by that I mean aimlessly throw a football at a backyard gate of old woman Roy's house... who's really mean and always scowling at him. He accidently threw it too high one time and naturally as these type of event would come to, he heard the sound of glass breaking. He panicked, shuffled to climb on top the wooden gate, and winced. There was a pretty big hole on the back window of Roy's house and hooo boy this isn't going to be good at all. He was about to get off the gate but accidently hit his ankle on a splinter from the wood and dropped onto the backyard of the evil old sword-sir-ess (Calvin think's hes a sword-sir-ess because she kinda looked like one plus she always bought too much food for one person so she must be feeding monsters to one day grow big enough to take over the village). As he was getting up and looking for a quick to get out before the demonic sword-sir-ess could capture him and feed him to the purple skeletons covered with worms and decayed flesh, the door to the backyard opened and Calvin froze and wouldn't look up. "This is it," he thought. He did his quick prayers before death... but death did not come. Instead a pair of much-smaller-than-probably-old-woman-Roy's shoes appeared before him and curious of who these feet belonged to (one was... a robotic leg????), he looked up. A boy that was a little taller than him was looking down at him... holding the back of his head and his football- IN A ROBOT HAND. The boy's expression was oddly blank but Calvin was getting the vibes that he was angry at him. The boy opened the backdoor to the yard and Calvin sprinted out of Roy's house. Wait till everyone learned that Ms. Roy was not a sword-sir-ess but actually a mad scientist that build cyborgs!
The next day Calvin's doorbell rang and his mom went to go get the door. Calvin was playing video games and whispered pleads that it was not who he hoped it was and maybe he could get away with accidently destroying one of the very few villager's house without being recognized. "Calvin!" his mom called, "Someone needs to see you." Okay, maybe it was Lacie, the college girl who sometimes comes back to village during her breaks, even though this is the middle of school year on the weekday, maybe she's over. "He's a boy around your age, I don't think I've ever met him before, Calvin." Okay, so maybe actually a new family has moved into the village! Cool! Calvin was excited someone new was in the villa- "Oh hello Ms. Roy! You say this is your grandson? Calvin, come over! How many times do I need to call you?" Alright Calvin, maybe it's time to stop denying the inevitable punishment and take it like a man. He trudged over to the door and, as expected, Fabron Roy and the the boy his age he saw earlier was standing by the door. His mom was smiling, clearly not knowing what his son has done yet. Calvin gulped. "Young man," began Fabron Roy, "this is Eis, my grandson." Alright, cool. But if he's going to tell his mom, he might as well get it over with. "And since, he doesn't come out often to get fresh air, it would be nice if you, someone his age, can play with him, yes?"
"...huh?" replied Calvin, intelligently. Fabron's eyes twinkled, "I asked if it would be alright if my boy can play with you. I see there is no one else that's your age. Surely you wouldn't mind spending some time with him... or we can also talk about what happened yesterday...?" Ms. Roy is definitely a mad scientist. His mom squinted her eyes at Calvin, "What did you do yesterday?" Fabron chuckled and told his mother that it was nothing much and as they continued to talk, Eis stepped into the house, looking at Calvin in his monotonous fashion. Well, at least he isn't ratted out. Calvin told- what was his name again- "...Eis," stated the poker faced child standing before him. Calvin nodded awkwardly- Eis, to follow him up the stairs. They did so and played some video games. Calvin tried to talk to Eis to no avail. The boy didn't reply to anything he said ("So how long have you lived with your grandpa?" "..." "How old are you? You're the same age as me right?" "..." Very frustrating really). In fact, he was pretty much ignoring him. Although, he learned how to play games really quickly, beating him a few times in a fighting game a few times, and by the time his grandpa called Eis down to go home, 3 hours had passed. And... Calvin realized he had fun? He shrugged it off. That is. Until the next day, when Eis came over again, by himself, and they played video games while Calvin attempted to get a word out of the speechless boy again until Eis's alarm rung and he left (Calvin's mom called him a responsible boy and that Calvin should learn more from him). This continued on, and they played many things over time like football and soccer and swimming and helping out the villagers and pranking some of them too (ok, just kidding, Calvin pranked while Eis glared at him). Eventually, he got Eis to start talking (wait when did he stop ignoring him...?) and open up. They sometimes went over to Grandma Roy's house, where Calvin learned that she was a former Techno Logian engineer and built a bunch of cool stuff, like Eis's arm and leg (so he was not wrong about that...)!
The nearest elementary school is outside the village in a suburban neighborhood. Grandma Roy took them to school to start kindergarten on a motorcycle with a sidecar (back then, Calvin didn't know of Eis's fear of cars) which got them a lot of "oohs" and "ahhhs" from the other children and a few "Mommy why don't we have motorcycle?" "Honey, that's dangerous and I don't know what their granny is thinking." Grandma had a small smirk forming at the edge of her mouth whenever she heard that. Calvin quickly made friends with the other kids but never forgot to invite Eis to play with them, even though Eis was stubborn and refused to as he needed "to study", which Calvin quickly huffed and unlatched Eis's arm so Eis was forced to get up and get it back. The kids eventually made a game of it, much to Eis's annoyance, in which they passed around his arm and someone who pretended to be Eis must get the arm back. Calvin made sure that the arm was always passed around and not thrown around though. Both Calvin and Eis were relatively quick learners thanks to their childhood consisting of mostly challenging to each other, or mostly Calvin challenging Eis, to matches like Mario Kart 45 on the Wii UXL3DS SWITCH (featuring Dante from Devil May Cry and Knuckles). They stayed close friends even after Eis leaving for the city after elementary school.
During middle school, Magikas were given the opportunity to evaluate their magics. One of the magic readers touched Calvin's palm and he gaped. He quickly got up and asked him to be his disciple and stated that Calvin had "luck magic" potential since he had an abundant amount of luck that would go to waste if he did not learn to use it. Thus began Calvin's training to control his magic. His teacher taught him to store his "luck" into amulets that he could make and use. As seen in the reference, his amulets are very simple wooden ones marked with marker or chalk. This is because Calvin likes to use less complicated spells in abundance and carrying lighter amulets rather than conjuring more powerful spells like the spell that "increases chance of succeeding something he attempts by 2%" which is useful, but somewhat of a cheat. Using wood as the base for his amulets decreases the weight and allows him to fight with more dexterity. He mostly uses spells like the short distance teleportation (the max he can pour into an amulet is 20 yards or about 18.3 meters) which is the two circles one amulet, magic counter (timed correctly, he can counter a Magika spell to a certain degree based on the luck in the amulet) which is the triangle amulet, increasing the missing chance of opponents which is the X amulet, chance of understanding (which creates a second of empathy that allows Calvin to know what the target feels) which is the heart, and finally the "blue moon" amulet that increases the chances of his other spells by the amount of his magic he places into the amulet. Along with knowledge of luck magic and creation of amulets, he's also well versed fighting with knives that he can wield dual or single. He usually fights single to keep one hand open to activate his amulets by pressing them and calling out the name of the amulet. The chalk/marker symbols disappear and the wood may crack depending on the strain placed upon the wood. His trailing point knives are fused with luck magic which helps decrease the chances of bending and cracking of the knives since they are trailing point knives: knives that are great for slicing and skinning but are somewhat delicate.
In the summer after senior year in high school, he got a strange note in the mail. The note had an amulet attached to it that looked sort of like a sort of seashell with a dark blue orb in between and 9 black gems around it (shown in reference). The note said:
By now, you must have learned about the art of luck magic. This seashell is a special amulet that is the map to the fountain of wishes. If you want to, please continue my quest. The moment you touch the blue pearl in the center, a compass of a sorts would glow inside it to the lead you on your way. And it will only glow when you touch it. However, it does not show distance nor glow brighter or dimmer the closer you reach your destination, and will only change direction if you go past the intended spot. There are 9 keys in total, each key needs to be touched and you will know if it is right if a black gem changes color. At the final key, it will lead you to the destination of the fountain. The quest will only end when you die. What will happen with the gem after you die? Well, I would not know, since I will not live to see it happen.
Love,
Your Deceased Grandfather
Calvin showed his mother the note and she cried. She told him not to leave, but he was set to follow his grandfather and finish his adventure. He took a deep breath and rubbed the blue pearl. It glowed and to his surprised, it pointed toward the city Eis lived. He decided that he could perhaps bring a companion with him on his journey.
He gets his scar during the story.
