Description

A Kung Fu Panda character of mine.
Originaly part of another scene, but I ended up loving her and I decided to color her individualy.

Lian is Shen’s wife, who has her own sad story. She is a princess, but her family was murdered by their court sorcerer, when Lian was little. The sorcerer took over the city and he is the lord ever since. He sold Lian with that serious warning, that she can’t have children from anyone, since those children would be the legitimate heirs to the city throne. So Lian lived a little more protected life, than most dancers, because she couldn’t be sold off for nights, until one time she was noticed by a young peacock called, Feng Huo. Fun fact: he is a cousin of Shen, from his mother’s side. He is a wealthy weapon-dealer and he bought Lian in secret. Later he took Lian to his palace, where he proposed to her and Lian accepted, being grateful for saving her. But this marriage was just an investment for Feng, so Lian ended up in another sad life, until she meets Shen.
Their relationship begins as a secret and both are afraid. Shen is especially rude with her at the beginning to keep her away. Lian is afraid to break up her engagement with Feng, because she fears that the sorcerer might find her. But what Shen fears the most is, that he don’t want kids. Because he is afraid of the possibility of passing his albino genes to them. And this is the biggest thing Shen hates about himself. He and Lian has a big argument about this, when Shen admits, that he does not want to curse a child to endure, what he had to. Later Lian softens him up a bit, and eventualy they have twin daughters.
