Just a sidenote: During the making of this art piece, I've never played Ace Combat. I only looked up videos (retrospective, analysis, memes, etc.) about that game on YouTube just to know what the flippity flop this whole game is all about. Also, I listened to few of the tracks as well and HOLY MOLY does the soundtrack hits me like a truck.

Especially, that one track named ZERO from Ace Combat Zero. A guitar-strumming, latin-singing, flamenco-dancing, plane-jousting banger composed by Keiki Kobayashi himself.

So, how does this doodle loodle came to be? Once upon a time, I've stumbled upon a Music Box arrangement of ZERO by a channel named R3 Music Box [Link HERE ] and my mind, displaying ideas into my head, was like "hmmm can you imagine drawing pixy from ace combat sleeping to this song?"

And my mind told me to make him look cuter. Hence the chibi-esque thing.

Thus, I grabbed my tablet and my pen, and started drawing this silly doodle of him being eepy. Originally, I draw this on a separate doodling canvas (with a small doodle of me complaining about drawing a flat hair for the first, or maybe second or third, time) just for a sketch, but I decided to turn this into a doodle with a crayon brush. I've added the text "Yo, buddy. Still awake?" above his head as a reference to one of Pixy's lines but I've replaced that one word from "alive" to "awake" as if the player pilot Cipher is asleep or not.

Future me here. I forgot to mention that I already played Ace Combat Zero, so the previous message has been replaced with this one.
