decided to jump onto the bandwagon
enjoy.Sorry I didn't have way older pics from 2003...didn't really have any actually haha.
1. No art school/classes/private lessons
2. self taught mostly at home only
3. Studied anatomy by looking at photos of people all around
4. coloring style is similar from my graphics design coloring skills
I like how my skills improve alot over the years, yet the ironic thing is that it gets worse in 2008-2009 LOL. Fail.
But still, enjoy looking at the progress overall

Wow, your work is amazing for being self-taught. You must've been very motivated to keep going and going, to get where you are now. The pieces you've done digitally look very professional and you deserve all the acknowledgement you can get!

wow. every now and then I come across something that makes me sort of entirely reconfigure everything I do in art and this is one of them. e.g, in yr 8 (im yr 9 now) I had a massive art block/depression. I think it was mainly because the best friend I made/have was/is a fantastic artist and I sorta (COMPLETELEY) sucked. still do though and yet she's still telling me to stop putting myself down...
anyway, I must'v seen something cool cus at the end of yr 8 i just brought up something totally different and on a different level to what I'd been doing before which still sucked but was better than before and my friends were in shock at how much I'd improved after not drawing a thing for a year and I am really hoping that this is one of those things that changes my art after ages of either nothing or my previous work.

Ah, it looks like there is still hope. If I practice hard from now on, perhaps I'll achieve some decent art by the time I get to college. So much progress, made in so little time!

i use gimp too! it's not that bad, once you get used to it (i think, at least). the only thing that'll really help is practice
