I hate the way I procrastinate and I hate the way I'm always such a damn perfectionist. It gives me stress, but I can't help it. I was thinking about not submiting this, but I had to force myself to because I worked too long on this and I put effort into it, and I just felt like if I didn't submit it...it would have been a total waste of spending all my time working on this for an entire month.Anyways... here's something original I worked on. I haven't drawn original art in forever and I felt like drawing a realism one.
Everything was done in photoshop elements 3.0.

Lol, I feel the same way too. Perfectionist to the very end... sometimes it kills the momentum of the art. But I don't see that here, this is gorgeous... *looks wistfully* Will I be able to draw like that if I work hard enough? I still have a long way to go...

anyway, freaking gorgeous details as always (shakes fist at you), your patience deserves a lot of reverence (i mean hell, i usually give up on something after a matter of days, if not hours).. and of course, you always draw the hottest guys. i love the composition. the hair doesnt look as detailed/ real as everything else, but i think it looks great with this picture~
keep it up! its a masochistic kind of love whenever you update, because i a.) get to see something awesome and b.) feel like shit

My art-class friend tells me the same thing. That I'm too much of a perfectionist. I tell her: "All artists are perfectionists. They have to be, how else do they get anything to look so good?!" That applies to you too...this is wonderful! Perfectionists tend to do better work than others! (not that I'm saying you're weird or that everybody else sux !!!)
