Not sure how many of you know, but I'm a wildlife volunteer in Australia - a very time consuming, very expensive passion with outweighingly great rewards.
Fizz is a 950g Swamp Wallaby Joey, who came into my care just a few days ago after his mother was hit by a car. We get dozens of these little guys every year, it's seriously tough for them in a world full of roads, vehicles and people. But when orphaned we give them a second chance by raising them for release on private properties. This guy is currently fed around the clock (no sleep for me), but doing really well - touch wood!

I just thought it was about time I shared one of my little sweeties with you! With any luck he will have a friend of the same species soon, to help him establish natural social skills and have somebody to help him along the tough road ahead!
