THAT PONYTAIL. I was so afraid it would fall out the whole time I was wearing it. Because my friend who made Megaman offered to make the base for my helmet at the same time he made his own, the ponytail wasn't built directly into the helmet. It was held on by more hot glue than you think (even if you think it's a lot I promise I used more than that), the pressure of my head squeezing it against the helmet, and copious amounts of luck. I have no idea how it ended up as securely attached as it did. Also, the helmet is incredibly uncomfortable. I did my best to pad it, but there are a few pressure points that are just killer. Not fun. Luckily, the costume turned out awesome enough to be worth all this trouble.
