I decided to make a blind-test and see what PixAI could come up with The Nightwatcher, the Planar of Nightmares. This was the result, and honestly... I could definitely see this as the ruler of nightmares.The Nightwatcher is depicted as a monstrous humanoid being with a jackal's head and a body made of shadows. It only materializes when someone's dreams are disturbed by an unnatural force, and will hunt down that force to destroy it in the most frightening ways possible.
In "Remembered Eternity", it is revealed that The Nightwatcher is an artificial Planar created by Volkram Niros in an attempt to become the most powerful Mana-Weaver in Medierth... but by using his biological son as a vessel / experiment, he ended up creating a being that would become Oerbus' helper when dealing with dreams and nightmares of the people... until it betrays him and sides with Melothios.
His corrupt essence is used by Volkram in "The Waiting Ones" to corrupt Josephine and unleash her rage upon Lupa, and later against Karyana, which temporarily fuses the latter with Melothios.
