Laurinya is the opposite of Kaina in every way. Laurinya is loud, bossy, reckless and ambitious. Her wish? Freedom... but not just any kind. She wants a life where rules don't apply to her, and where she be whatever she wants without anyone having a say. She also enjoys displaying her dominance over those less magically-enclined. Even though she cares about Kaina, she can't accept that she's merely half of a whole. As much as she (and later, Karyana) try to find a place for her, she always sticks out like the odd one out and never fits in.
